Too tired to think of something clever

Was one hell of a weekend. Lots of drama. Today was my day off and I spent it getting birthday surprises ready for the Geminis in my life. Now I'm exhausted and pretty much ready to go to sleep...at 8:40pm. Quick post, hope you like the pictures.

Went to a Rattler's game last night. They're a local baseball team here in San Luis. Noah's work sponsors them so every now and then we get some free tickets. Last night was one of those nights. Had a great time and took a few photos. Take a look:

Ok, so now I really remember why I don't live in North County. It's been 97 degrees the past two days in Paso Robles. Hot! Wouldn't be so bad if the air conditioning in the store actually worked like it's supposed to. Granted, it's cooler inside than out, but not by enough. My boss told me she's had people out 4 times to fix it, but for whatever reason, it just doesn't work. It reminds me of when I was in high school. The heaters always broke in the winter and the air conditioners broke in the summer. So, here are a couple cooling pictures. Hope they help beat the heat. Am enjoying being home in SLO where it's only 80 degrees right now. Think I might go get some frozen yogurt.

Summertime

So, it seems summer has found us. This is not a pleasant time of year to be working in Paso Robles. Hopefully I'll be back to SLO by the end of the month before it gets really really bad. Anyway, the warm weather made me break out a few photos from my trip to Hawaii back in 2007. I would much rather be sitting under a palm tree drinking a pina colada than going to work in 90 degree weather. Hope you are all having a pleasant summery day.

Ok, so I think these'll be the last two from that weekend that I post...at least for awhile. I'm getting kind of sick looking through the same group of photos everyday. I'm ready for something new. Hope you enjoyed all the photos that I posted though!

Lazy day off

Today was spent doing pretty much nothing at all. It was a day of laziness. I planted some strawberries this morning (with Noah's help) but that's about it. I'm really looking forward to having some fresh strawberries this summer. Noah got a couple tomato plants awhile back that are starting to go crazy. While the plants themselves are very cool looking, I hate tomatoes. I can't help it. Never have liked them and never will. So, when we found the strawberry plants this morning and Noah suggested getting them, I was all for it. I don't have a green thumb at all, but Noah is like a plant whisperer, so I know that they should survive at least one season. Can't wait for some strawberry shortcake. Mmmm...

Moo

Yes, I said "moo" to the cows as we drove by. I'm a dork like that. Noah was nice enough to slow down so I could grab a couple shots as well. It cracks me up how mad the one cow looks. I guess he gets sick of hearing people say "moo" out of their car windows while they drive through the country.
