After working 6 days in a row, I finally get to enjoy a day off.  Methinks beach, perhaps?

June gloom still persists in the mornings even though it's now the middle of July.  I just want to wake up to the sunshine, is that too much to ask?

Seriously, why are the bees this year so photogenic?  I've taken more good bee photographs this year than I ever have in all the previous years combined!  Perhaps it's not the bees, but the fact that I now have a lens that can do them justice.

A couple of weeks ago, I went over to my mom's house to take pictures of her art studio.  She's entering it into Cloth Paper Scissors Studio magazine and needed to send in a few photos.  If chosen, there will be more pictures sent and it will be my first photo byline in a national magazine!  So, keep your fingers crossed for both of us.  This week I'm posting a few of my favorites from that shoot.

Ambiance

As I said yesterday, Noah brought a plant, I brought 10 of these guys.  Our campsite was so pretty and glowy!

A small piece of home

A few weeks ago, Noah and I went to the Live Oak Music Festival.  We go every year.  This was my 12th time going and Noah's 16th.  This year, we decided we needed some ambiance in our campsite.  I brought paper lanterns, Noah brought a plant.
