wrapping it up

Presents, as well as my cold. Finally starting to feel better. I still sound like an old man who's been smoking for the past 40 years, but I think I may be able to venture out of the house today. Being cooped up has given me time to wrap some Christmas presents and get some knitting done. I have to say (other than the fact that it's nearly 80 degrees outside and that I work retail), I'm starting to get very excited about the coming holiday!

Have to work today...unfortunately. Still feeling crappy, but maybe work will take my mind off of it. And once I get through today, I have tomorrow off for more recovery. Wish me luck.

trying to take it easy

So, if you know me, you know that I rarely ever call in sick to work. However, today was one of those rare days. I am spending the day laying on couch and watching movies with Noah (who is also sick). Feeling very very very very very very blech!

I want this Sunday

My health back!!! I seem to have caught Noah's cold. And this is after I've been dealing with a sinus infection for over a month now. I am definitely ready to no longer be sick! Anyone else dealing with a nasty case of the ickyness? If so, you have my sympathies! So today, instead of seeing some material camera-related thing that I want, you get a cute picture of a capybara that I saw at the San Francisco zoo. It's like the biggest hamster ever!!!

It's Caturday!

So, I had a request to do cat pictures every Saturday after the one I posted last week. And seeing as I do tend to take a million pictures of my cat it seemed like a good idea to me. So, enjoy!

Or in my case, happy green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, maybe gravy if it's not meaty, maybe stuffing if it wasn't cooked in the bird, and pie day (the curse of being a vegetarian during the holidays) ! Although, this year since I'm working, I guess it's happy whatever Noah brings back to me from his family's house day! Now I'm off for a Thanksgiving morning hike with some friends!
