some perspective

Thought I'd throw in this photograph of Loki with the items. It gives some perspective on how tiny they are. One more piece of perspective: these are actually all charms for making jewelry that I picked up at work. I guess working at a craft store can be helpful with my photography. Now if we only carried photography supplies and equipment. Yeah, don't think that's going to happen any time soon.

mini project

Started a project on taking photographs of toys or miniature things. Here are a couple of shots that I have so far. Hope you like them.

In other news, how does it go from 113 degrees to 67 degrees and raining in just a week? I don't get it. Must be that global warming thing I keep hearing about.

right place, right time...again

The weather this past week has been more than a bit weird. A week ago, it was 113 degrees. Friday, it rained. Saturday, we had a lightning storm. Today? Cold, windy and cloudy...rather autumnal actually. Shot this photograph this morning during a quick break in the weather. Hope you enjoy!

roses are red

And so are raspberries and tomatoes!! I don't like to eat tomatoes, but I love taking pictures of the ones that Noah grows on our patio. If only we had raspberries growing out there....mmmmmmmm.

cleverness eludes me

That's right, I can't think of anything clever to say. Was up early this morning and will be up late tonight. Work all day and party all night...it's rough, but someone's gotta do it. It's my best friend's birthday party tonight, so I'm all dressed up and getting ready for a night of ridiculousness (it's a word). Hope everyone out there is enjoying their weekend!

I'm back!

Had today off and plenty of room on my credit card, so voila! It was time to get back to 2010 (although the computer from 2000 was working amazingly well). Plus, my cameras were getting a little full. Took off more than 200 photos...some of which were actually decent. Hope you enjoy and thanks for your patience and good computer thoughts!
