Thank you for all the wonderful comments and support from yesterday's post. It really means a lot to me. Aunt Becky, I didn't even know you knew about my blog! What a surprise! It's been a long couple of weeks, but I know it's going to be a really good thing in the long run.

something's different

So, you may have noticed that there haven't been many "new" pictures in the last couple of weeks. They've been mostly from previous photo excursions, or just not the quality I wish they were. So, what's been going on? Well, I haven't been saying anything because I wasn't sure if I could actually do it. But today was day number 14, week number two. Of what? Of not smoking. I quit. So, I have been kind of preoccupied, and cranky, and not feeling like going out taking a lot of pictures. I'm starting to feel better now though...more like myself. So, I'm going to try to get myself out and take more pictures. These two were both taken today. I made a Trader Joe's run and here are a couple of my purchases.

Leaves of three

Let it be. Took these shots when I went to the waterfall. There was poison oak everywhere! Kind of surprised that I didn't get any on me. Of course, while it looks like I got really close to the plants, I did rely on my zoom just a bit. I mean, I'm not that crazy. It is awfully pretty though, isn't it? You know me, I just love bright green plants. Well, enjoy the pictures so you can stay away from the actual plant...itchy!
