Is it just me, or does the rain make plants more colorful?

California winters are rough...

I am alive!  Now that Christmas is over, I have a little bit of time to take pictures.  That means it might be less than 2 months before I post again...maybe.

Here's a closer look at one of the many many many many butterflies at Monarch Butterfly Grove.

Monarch Grove is within walking distance to my apartment.  Every fall, the grove is home to thousands of butterflies.  Today there were an estimated 34,000 Monarch Butterflies up in the eucalyptus trees...here are a few of them.

Finally starting to feel like Fall here on the Central Coast.  We even saw some rain today!

Hurray for finally having internet again! A little over a week ago, I turned the big 30. I was able to take a few days off of work and went on a couple photo taking adventures. Will be posting the good ones over the next few days!

There is something so interesting about water in motion and capturing that motion in a photograph.

I'm still alive!  Between moving, being short handed at work, and everything else that summer threw at me I really had no time (or drive) for taking pictures....but today, I found some time!

It's a beautiful day...go out and play some games.
